Archimedean Schools are constantly monitoring the updated guidelines in regards to Covid-19 on the Federal Level and the State Level along with the restrictions and decisions on the Local Level to ensure that the policies implemented provide the safest environment for our students, faculty, and staff.
GROUP SIZES
Groups will be limited at the maximum capacity per classroom/ other spaces, following guidelines provided by the authorities with respect to recommendations for social distancing.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
Social Distancing will be implemented for all groups during the school day. Efforts will be made to cohort students to minimize exposure and allow for contact tracing. During outdoor activities, students will only interact with their own group. Traffic in hallways will be unidirectional. Signage will be strategically placed to reinforce safety protocols.
DISTANCIAMIENTO SOCIAL
La distancia social para todos los grupos se implementará durante el día escolar. Las medidas se implementarán por cada grupo de estudiantes para minimizar la exposición y permitir el rastreo de contactos. Durante las actividades al aire libre los estudiantes solo interactuarán con su propio grupo. El tráfico en los pasillos será unidireccional. Se colocarán carteles estratégicamente para reforzar los protocolos de seguridad
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Employees, Students, and Visitors will be wearing face coverings while on campus. Students should wear their own masks and have 2 spare masks with them on a daily basis. Students will be required to carry their own water bottle. Individual disinfectant is recommended. The school provides hand disinfectant in all classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other high traffic areas.

Los estudiantes deben usar sus propias máscaras y llevar 2 máscaras de repuesto diariamente. Los estudiantes deberán llevar su propia botella de agua. Se recomienda a los estudiantes llevar desinfectante individual. La escuela proporcionará desinfectante de manos en todas las aulas, pasillos, baños y otras áreas de alto tráfico.
SCREENING
Employees, Students, and Visitors will be temperature screened prior to entering the building facilities. Hand sanitizer will be provided to them.

PARENTS & VISITORS ENTRANCE TO FACILITIES
As a measure to comply with social distancing guidelines, Parents and Visitors will only be permitted inside the buildings, through the main reception door, upon appointment.

DROP-OFF
The drop-off area is between the cafeteria of Building A and the library of Building B. Upon exiting the car students will be temperature checked before entering their school building where they will be required to disinfect their hands. Parents should remain in their car until their child has cleared.
DEJAR ESTUDIANTES O PAQUETES
El área de entrega se encuentra entre la cafetería del Edificio A y la biblioteca del Edificio B.
Al salir del auto, los estudiantes recibirán un control de temperatura antes de ingresar a la escuela.
Una vez en el edificio se deberán desinfectar sus manos. Los padres deben permanecer en
su automóvil hasta que su hijo haya despejado el área.
PICK-UP
The Pick-up area will remain the same as the previous years. We will stagger classroom release, when feasible. Students for early release and or late pickup will meet parents or guardians at the main reception door of their respective building.
RECOGER
El área de recogida de estudiantes seguirá siendo la misma que en años anteriores. Escalonaremos la salida de cada aula para liberar en la medida que sea posible. Los estudiantes que necesiten salir temprano y / o ser recogidos más tarde se encontrarán con los padres o guardianes en la puerta principal de la recepción de sus respectivos edificios.
MEALS
Grab-and-Go Breakfast and lunch will be served in the cafeteria in individual enclosed containers and food will be consumed in classrooms, cafeterias, and open areas. We will stagger meal schedules to limit students in the cafeteria at any given time.
COMIDAS
El desayuno y el almuerzo se servirán en la cafetería en contenedores individuales. Los alimentos se consumirán en las aulas, cafeterías y áreas abiertas. Lo haremos con horarios
escalonados para limitar la cantidad de los estudiantes en la cafetería.
SANITATION
Maintenance staff will be cleaning/disinfecting classrooms, restrooms, cafeteria areas, doorknobs, desks, and surfaces commonly touched by the students and visitors before, during, and after school hours, according to the CDC Guidelines.

COVID-19 SYMPTOMS
Any student presenting symptoms of COVID-19 will be monitored in an isolated area until picked-up. Parents picking up students due to illness will have a 40-minute time limit for arrival. We will be implementing CDC Guidelines for the appropriate measures to notify families, disinfect rooms, and when to return to school. Upon return, students should bring a doctor’s note that they are not infected with COVID-19.
SÍNTOMAS DE COVID-19
Cualquier estudiante que presente síntomas de COVID-19 será monitoreado en un área aislada hasta que sea recogido. Los padres que recogen a los estudiantes debido a una enfermedad tendrán un límite de tiempo de 40 minutos para llegar. Implementaremos las pautas del CDC para las medidas apropiadas para notificar familias, desinfectar habitaciones y determinar cuándo es seguro regresar. Al regresar los estudiantes deben traer una nota del médico de que no están infectados con COVID-19.
