Montz, Danielle | Grade 7 Philosophy
Danielle Montz was born and raised in Miami, FL. She is dedicated to the study of philosophy as it provides a context for tackling contemporary issues through logic and reason. She completed a degree in Philosophy at FIU in 2016, where her chosen curriculum was focused on ethics and social issues. As an actively engaged member within the Philosophy Department, she successfully tutored students struggling with Intro to Ethics. She was also pleased to serve as Vice President of the Eta Chapter of Phi Sigma Tau, the honors society for philosophy throughout the United States. She has translated her passion for learning into her profession as a 7th-grade educator in the subject of ethics within Archimedean Middle Conservatory from the 2016 school year to the present. She has contributed to the Philosophy, Model United Nations, and Chess Clubs as a co-sponsor.
