Dr. Mills, Kadisha | American Mathematics
Dr. Kadisha Mills, a daughter of Jamaican soil, has spent 25 years teaching both locally and internationally, helping scholars develop problem-solving skills and confidence in mathematics.
She has taught students across all grade levels and has been teaching Mathematics Methodology at the university level since 2015.
She began her professional journey in Jamaica after earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
She later completed a second Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management.
From Florida International University, she earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Doctoral Degree in Teaching and Learning Mathematics.
Her life philosophy is inspired by the words of St. Francis of Assisi:
“Oh that I may never seek, so much to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand. To be loved as to love with all my soul.”
Guided by this philosophy, she strives to create a classroom environment rooted in love, peace, and joy.
