Dr. Martinez holds an Education Doctorate and a Masters from Harvard University on Administration, Planning and Social Policy, a Masters from Hunter College CUNY

New York City on Science in Education and Bilingual Education and a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) Rio Piedras on European History.

He has been Assistant Superintendent of School Reform Oakland Unified School District, at Oakland California and Director of Assessment and Evaluation for Hayward Unified School District at Hayward, California as well as a top executive at BrainStrong, Inc, Sapientis, and the Puerto Rico Community Foundation at San Juan, Puerto Rico.
