BEFORE SCHOOL

Each meal consists of protein, grains, vegetables, fruit, and dairy products. We take pride in serving healthy quality meals to our students.

  • ELEMENTARY STUDENTS
Students are served breakfast and supervised in the cafeteria until 7:45 AM. At that time they are either sent to their homerooms or walked to their homerooms depending on the grade level and location of the classroom.
  • MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

AFTER SCHOOL

The ACC After School Care Program provides children with an inviting place that is fun and caring. It is a great environment for a child’s social, physical, and academic skills to thrive.

  • DAILY ACTIVITIES
    • Snack Time
    • Recess
    • Homework Time
    • Outdoor &/Or Indoor Play Time
  • SNACKS
Snacks are served after the school’s dismissal time and are included in the fee. Students are welcome to bring their own from home.
  • A NOTE ABOUT HOMEWORK TIME
At the ACC we understand the importance of having homework completed at the After School Care Program. We make every effort to send your child home with all homework completed. Leaders will help students with some problem areas. However, this is not a tutorial program and the Leader cannot check all homework or teach the homework to children individually. After School Classrooms have approximately 25 students. Homework is a review of the teacher’s lessons taught in class and the students should be able to complete the work independently to accurately reflect their comprehension of the lesson to the teacher. If your child regularly has difficulty with the level of the homework, you may wish to request a conference with the teacher to try to resolve the problem and communicate with the After School Manager to assist in a resolution. Additionally, the After School Care schedule provides your child with time to relax and play. When the children arrive at After School Care they are tired, hungry, and in need of some physical activity. We highly suggest that parents check all homework, finished and unfinished, at home.
