Erayil, Praseena | Mathematics

Hello students—let’s start with a warm-up (don’t worry, no calculator needed… yet). The average human life is about 4,000 weeks, and by 2026 I’ve spent roughly 777 of those weeks at Archimedean Upper Conservatory. I’ll let you do the math from there—but yes, the answer to the question you ask me almost every day is hidden somewhere in that calculation. 😁

I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, but what truly drives me is helping students see that math is more than numbers—it’s about thinking critically, solving problems, and discovering what you’re capable of achieving… and occasionally wondering why it became your responsibility to track down x, who refuses to behave and keeps ghosting everyone like it owes us money 😁

I believe all students can learn when supported in a safe, positive environment. Whether you already love math or are still figuring it out, you’ll find a place to grow here. A respectful and encouraging classroom makes all the difference, and I aim to create a space where questions are welcomed, mistakes are part of the process, and “aha!” moments happen regularly. When you take ownership of your learning, that’s when real understanding begins—not just for a test, but for life.

Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m committed to making each day meaningful, engaging, and maybe even a little fun during your math period. I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you at Archimedean Upper Conservatory 💙
