Mrs. Varela was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

She later moved to the United States to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Florida International University.

She also earned an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami.

Before entering education, she gained valuable professional experience working at prestigious financial firms such as Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers.

She later paused her corporate career to raise her three children.

During this time, she developed a strong appreciation for the importance of childhood education, which inspired her to transition into a career in teaching.

Mrs. Varela has been a member of the Archimedean family for over ten years, teaching 1st and 2nd Grade Mathematics.
