On Friday, December 13, 2024, Archimedean Academy proudly hosted its annual School Spelling Bee competition, and what an incredible event it was! The competition brought together ten talented semifinalists from our 4th and 5th grades, all of whom showcased their impressive spelling skills and dedication.

After an exhilarating 14 rounds filled with challenging words, Akshith Majety emerged victorious! The final round was especially thrilling as Akshith faced off against Anusri Kadel, a highly skilled 4th grader who gave an amazing performance. In the end, Akshith secured his well-deserved win by correctly spelling the word “tsunami.” His hard work, focus, and determination truly shone throughout the event.

We are beyond proud of Akshith’s accomplishment! As the champion of our school, he will now move forward to represent Archimedean Academy at the regional qualifier for Miami-Dade County this coming spring. We know he will continue to make us proud and wish him the very best of luck as he takes on this exciting next challenge.
