Dimou, Ioanna | Mathematics
My teaching philosophy is centered on connecting rigorous mathematical thinking with real-world applications, valuing both theoretical understanding and its relevance beyond the classroom.
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s Degree in Applied Informatics from the University of Thessaly.
At Archimedean School, I teach Mathematics in the Greek language, focusing on helping students develop clarity, confidence, and precision in their thinking.
I view mathematics as a language of ideas rather than simply a collection of rules, and my goal is to help students become independent thinkers and self-directed learners.
In my classroom, students are encouraged to question, explore, and persist, developing strong analytical skills and lasting intellectual independence.
