After being selected and awarded as the male Scholar-Athlete of the State of Florida by the Florida Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (FIAAA) for the classifications 5A/4A and by the Miami Herald as one of the top Scholar-Athletes of Miami Dade County, Renier Martinez receives the highest recognition by the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) as one of the top Scholar-Athletes of the State.
The ceremony took place on Monday, 6/10/19, at Gainesville where the Executive Director of FHSAA handed the medallions to all student-athletes.
