Mr. Palos holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Columbia University in the City of New York, with a specialty in European history. He earned a Masters Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, where he specialized in intellectual history and the teaching of history. His credentials include a Florida Professional Educator’s Certificate in Social Science and World Languages (Spanish). He also earned certification as an accomplished teacher by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). A native of Barcelona, Spain, he taught AP and other advanced-level courses in private and public schools in the Chicago and the Miami areas before coming to Archimedean. He brings to us a wealth of knowledge and experience and a passion for teaching. His hobbies include traveling to other countries, playing sports such as soccer and basketball, and participating in community and educational activities.
