Exciting News from Archimedean Robotics Team!

Our Archimedean Upper Conservatory teams made significant achievements at the July 2023 National competition of the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO). Placing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th at the Eastern U.S. Conference, we’re thrilled to share that one of our teams got the incredible opportunity to represent the United States at the WRO International competition in Panama from November 7-9, 2023!

Participating in the robo-mission category, our team, guided by coach Mr. Onoufrios Kostakis, showcased their skills and ingenuity at the prestigious event. The WRO 2023 featured over 1200 competitors from around the world, engaging in intense robotic challenges across various categories like robo-mission, robo-sports, and young robotics innovators.

In their debut year at the WRO, Archimedean Robotics achieved something remarkable! Our team, consisting of Marco Rivera, Evan Mangual, and Kimon Gerasopoulos Pappas, secured the #1 spot among all U.S.A. teams in the robot mission category and an impressive #34 in the world among 87 teams from different countries.
