Kostakis, Onoufrios | Science

He graduated from Piraeus University of Applied Science, School of Engineering (SENG) Department of Computer Systems Engineering, Greece. His postgraduate studies was in Open University of Cyprus (Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences) Information Systems.
Prior to joining AMC and AUC , he was working as a teacher of Informatics in Middle and High Public schools in Greece from 2000 till 2022. He has also worked at Technological Educational Institute of Peloponnese Kalamata as Laboratory Partner (part time).
He was Vice President of the Robotics and New Technologies Teachers’ Association of Kalamata from 2019 to 2022. He also was Ambassador of World Robot Olympiad Hellas in Peloponnese district from 2018 to 2020. From 2015 to 2022 he volunteered robotics classes for students (for free). The same period he was also coach of Robotics teams with Participations with distinctions in the National Finals of Robotics in Greece. He has represented Greece in the Ιnternational Robotics finals as a team coach and as a judge. (2017 Costa Rica, 2018 Thailand. 2019 Hungary).
He joined Archimedean Schools in the school year 2022-2023. In 2023 participated as coach of 3 teams of AUC in the U.S. National Final of World Robot Olympiad Competition. The 3 teams placed 2nd, 3rd and 4rth in the National Final and the Archimedean qualified to represent the U.S.A. to the International Final hosted by Panama.
