Fourth Grade scholars were challenged to design, build, and test a prototype of a boat out of a 30cm x 30cm piece of aluminum foil. The prototype must be able to float and hold a minimum of 3 quarters before it started to sink. To pull of this challenge scholars needed to use their knowledge about mass, volume, and density.
