Chaidos, Fotios | Mathematics
Fotios graduated from the University of Crete, specializing in Applied Mathematics, in Greece. He also spent a year studying mathematics through the Erasmus student exchange program in Ostrava, Czech Republic. His postgraduate studies were in Special Education and Training at the University of the Aegean, Greece.
Prior to joining AUC, Chaidos served as the Director of Studies and Mathematics Teacher at the Private Academic Institution Poukamisas in Greece from 2013 to 2023. He has been providing private tutoring in mathematics for high school and university students since 2004. Additionally, he volunteered as a Mathematics Teacher at the Social Tutorial Center of the Municipality of Piraeus.
Chaidos is a Certified Career Advisor (CAC), accredited by the University of Nicosia and the Computer Academy. He has also earned certifications in the Teaching of STEM subjects and Educational Psychology from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is currently furthering his academic pursuits as a student in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences at the National Technical University of Athens, specializing in Physics.
He holds additional qualifications, including certification in Basic Life Support and First Aid. His language proficiencies include excellent skills in English and moderate skills in French. Furthermore, Chaidos is proficient in technical computing skills, having received a computer certification from the University of Crete. He is a proud member of MENSA.
