Laura Hernandez is committed to scholar success inside of the classroom and in life. She believes that scholar success is created through meaningful relationships. A 2001 graduate of Florida International University, Laura has a BS in Elementary Education. Currently, a Science and Social studies teacher, Laura uses scholarly collaboration and hands-on learning to motivate scholars and foster a love of science and for their state, Florida. In addition, she is one of the coaches for the 5thgrade Science Club in which she prepares scholars for SECME and Science Olympiad competitions.
