In the words of Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” Ms. Martin knew she wanted to “Change the world” as young as elementary school-age when she would set up her bedroom as a classroom and give her two younger siblings spelling tests. Ms. Martin’s professional journey began when she graduated from Barry University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education and immediately began the Master’s in Reading program, graduating in 2006 with honors. From that time on, Ms. Martin has worked with students with varying degrees of learning capabilities and has been inspiring and shaping young minds at Archimedean Academy for the past 5 years.
