The National Merit Scholarship Program announced Wednesday 9/11, the list of all National Merit Semifinalists for 2020. These are high school seniors who during junior year scored exceptionally high, among the top 0.5% of more than 1.5 million students from 21,000 high schools across the U.S., in the PSAT exams.

I am proud and excited to share with all of you that our school had the highest percentage of 2020 National Merit Semifinalists among all public high schools in Miami-Dade, and the second-highest when including all private high schools as well.
