Every year our school participates in the Fairchild Challenge, a year-long competition comprising of seven challenges. Our seniors had undertaken a task to research, design and propose a business plan of a Pine Rockland Garden in cooperation with Protect to Connect non-profit organization. The submission of the Pine Rockland Garden business plan was a great success and we won second place in Miami-Dade school district. The main purpose of the Fairchild Challenge was to bring environmental awareness to our school and educate students about the importance of preservation of the natural South Florida habitat.
